At AS Level you will study British Politics, looking at the nature of democracy in the UK and the people that operate within it. You will also study the British Constitution looking at the Executive, Legislature and the Judiciary. At A2, you will study global politics. You will look at the worlds most powerful States such as the USA, Russia and China, as well the most important International Organisations operating in the international system, including the UN, NATO and the EU. You will then study Conflict and Terrorism, along with the increasing role of International Law.
