Level 3 Access to Humanities

UPDATED 20150202 12:43:10

Access to Higher Education Diploma courses are designed to provide the underpinning knowledge and skills needed to progress to a degree or diploma course in higher education. These courses enable adults who do not have the necessary Level 3 qualifications such as A-Levels required to enter higher education to acquire the Access to HE Diploma, which is equivalent in standard to these qualifications. The courses are very intensive, as the whole Level 3 programme is delivered in one year. There is a strong focus on developing your study skills, like note-taking, essay writing and preparing for exams, as well as developing knowledge in your chosen options see What will I study. A lot of the work is assessed through assignments, so you need to be well-organised and able to meet deadlines.
