The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma extends and deepens the specialist work-based knowledge required for careers in the Uniformed Public Services. The course prepares students for appropriate direct employment in the vocational sector and it is suitable for those who wish to enter a particular specialist area of work. It is broadly equivalent to three A Levels. The two year course provides students with the opportunity to develop a range of practical skills and techniques as well as personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in the uniformed public services.
