A two year course to complete A Level, or one year to complete AS Level. This course aims to develop an understanding of how chemists seek to utilise the world£s natural resources to provide the food, products, medicines and energy sources required in everyday life. We offer a well-equipped laboratory and excellent resources, for both theory and practical-based lessons. Course includes a field trip to explore how resources can be obtained from seawater, and the effects that industry has on the surrounding environment Good mathematical skills and keen interest in science, particularly Chemistry, will be essential for success of this course, as well as good practical skills.
