The department has two commercial themed salons fitted with excellent facilities to match that of industry and four training salons all fitted with top of the range equipment. The staff are all fully trained to advanced level, and have considerable experience of working within the industry, publishing books, winning competitions and providing a fun and exciting environment. To be a successful student you will need to have a keen interest in Beauty, be a team player, enjoy working with members of the public, great communicator and listener and a happy personality. At this level students must be able to self-study and commit to additional activities outside of the class room. You will be able to enter into national competitions, attend additional workshops eg ear-piercing, spray tanning, airbrush make up, trips to find out about careers on board a cruise ship and trips to see working spas.
