You will gain knowledge and understanding in a variety of basic make up and hair techniques that will allow you to progress onto the Level 3 Hair and Media make up. The department has two commercial themed salons fitted with excellent facilities to match that of industry and four training salons all fitted with top of the range equipment. The staff are all fully trained to advanced level, have considerable experience of working within the industry, publishing books, winning competitions and providing a fun and exciting environment. To be a successful student you will need to have a keen interest in fashion, be a team player, enjoy working with members of the public, great communicator, good listener and a cheerful personality. At this level students must be able to self-study and commit to additional activities outside of the class room.
