This course focuses on applying mathematics in context; problem solving; reasoning and the functional elements of mathematics. Fundamental skills include: working with arithmetic; an understanding of fractions, decimals, percentage & ratio and an appreciation of algebraic notification. Assessment is through 3 written papers at the end of the course.
