For beginners, these basic introduction courses introduce how to use a computer, as well as developing and improving skills and accessing online services. Course duration: 5 weeks (1.5 hours per week) This course is available to anyone in the community who would like to find out how to use a computer to improve their skills to email and access services online. •Online Basics •Starting with a keyboard •Starting with a mouse •Using email •Using the internet safely •Using online searches •Understanding shopping online There will also be a session with a Learning Curve Adviser before the start of the course.
