Childcare Level 1

This course offers practical experience whilst learning the basics of childcare, and once completed can lead to a paid apprenticeship and undertaking a Level 2 qualification. The Level 1 is a recognised City & Guilds qualification course and provides a dedicated tutor who runs a practical workshop every week. For the rest of the time you will be working in a nursery setting getting hands-on experience and working with children. Young people can enrol on to the course at any time. You can speak to the Aspire Training Team for more information, and then if you wish to enrol a time will be arranged for you to come along and speak to the tutor and fill out the enrolment form. Once your DBS check has been completed, the course can start for you - simple as that. You can choose from a 6-month, 9-month or 1-year course. The course is delivered across Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset.
