HELPING YOU TO UNDERSTAND DEMENTIA (Evening)

This course might be useful if you are caring for a family member with dementia, supporting a friend with dementia or if you work in an area where you might be dealing with people with dementia. It will help you to understand the causes of dementia, identify the signs and symptoms and explore effective ways to communicate with a person with dementia. The workshop will be offered in either the afternoon or evening and on one of three dates. For more details about this course, please contact the Adult Community learning office.
