Art: Drawing & Painting for Pleasure

This course explores the many possibilities of drawing and painting medium including: - pencil, soft pastels and coloured pencils, acrylics, watercolour and gouache. These will be used to cover a range of themes based on the landscape and still life. During the course you will develop your skills and confidence at all levels of ability. What will I learn? By the end of the course you will have learnt how to:- Gain an understanding of materials and equipment with developing confidence. Sample a variety of drawing and painting media techniques. Combine different drawing and painting media in a series of main studies Recognise and evaluate your own work. Work safely in an art room environment
