Course Description: During this course you will develop your interview skills. This is a three day course for those seeking work, leading to the Open Awards Level 1 Preparing for a Recruitment Interview Unit. Most participants are referred to the course, either via Job Centre Plus or a Work Programme provider, but the course is open to anyone who is looking for work and in receipt of a state benefit (including National Insurance credits only) Please bring photographic proof of identity to your first session. If you don’t have photographic ID please bring two other forms of identity eg Bank card, Bank statement, utility bill, Council tax bill Attendance at ALL sessions is essential. If you miss a session you may be asked to leave the course. What will I learn? • Recognise the importance of being prepared for an interview • Recognise recruitment interview questions and responses • Understand and demonstrate recruitment interviewee skills • Undergo a mock interview
