This course will cover the structure of the hospitality industry and the career opportunities. We have a well equipped cookery room where you will be able to learn some of the theoretical and practical aspects of this industry; principal methods of cooking, different types of kitchen equipment and their usage as well as being able to prepare, cook and present simple dishes. What will I learn? The course should be an enjoyable hands-on experience where students will work towards achieving three accredited units; Basic Food Preparation and Cooking Health & Hygiene Developing own Interpersonal Skills This is a 10 week, level one accredited course enabling you to gain a certificate. This is a portfolio based course, however, there will be some homework/study required.
