In this short course we will be providing you with information on nutrition and focusing in particular on the foods, vitamins and minerals essential for the health and well being of children. We will be demonstrating recipes and there will be a chance to make simple dishes that may be appealing as appetising meals and snacks for children What will I learn? How to put together healthy meals and snacks for children, considering the healthy options available. This course is intended to build up your skills for employment and help to prepare you for progression onto an accredited course.
