Art: Beginners (LDD)

Throughout the course the learner will have the opportunity to enjoy exploring line, tone, texture and colour in an experimental way using a wide range of materials including coloured pencils and pastels, watecolour, poster and acrylic paints using a wide range of resources of subjects and images as sensory triggers of exploration. All learners will have the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence at all levels of ability. What will I learn? By the end of the course you will have learnt how to:- Gain an understanding to a range of drawing and paint mediums with supporting materials. To sample a range of drawing mediums in an experimental way with other materials. To sample a range of painting mediums in an experimental way with other materials. To develop and produce a variety of art studies using mixed media on a range of subject matter from visual images. Work safely in an art room environment.
