This outstanding practical course is aimed at developing the skills necessary for working within the uniformed public services. HLC’s Public Services Team work closely with the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services as well as the Armed Forces. These valuable contacts ensures that you get relevant and up-to-date teaching. Students can prepare for a career in one of these areas and experience the types of roles and responsibilities of the uniformed public services. During the course we aim to give students the opportunity to develop key attributes, such as communication skills, flexibility, teamwork and the ability to think and work independently. All of these skills are crucial to public service work.
