UPDATED 20141204 10:59:23

The course builds on what you have studied at GCSE and develops your skills in using Spanish, as well as giving you an insight into Spanish speaking cultures and societies. The syllabus is based on contemporary topics which you will find useful for work, higher education and for personal use. The AS Level will give you a solid grounding in the language skills and knowledge of contemporary society. Listening and speaking play a major role and a lot of work is done around vocabulary building and the acquisition of grammar. The course covers a variety of topics which includes youth culture and concerns, lifestyle, health and fitness, the world around us, education and employment. All courses are classroom-based, involving individual, pair and group activities. You can also take advantage of the Internet facilities to access the many websites dedicated to language learning. Please note, if you're not quite ready for AS Level study, we also offer GCSE and beginner classes in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.
