This 23 week residential training programme, graded as Outstanding by Ofsted, is spread over some 3 years and incorporates an intermediate apprenticeship at level 2. Learners attend the purpose built Toyota & Lexus Academy in Nottingham, and are accommodated at a local Hotel during the scheduled 2 week training blocks. The programme is a blend of manufacturer specific training and National qualifications. In addition learns are qualified to work on Hybrid vehicles and poses a refrigerant handling qualification at the successful conclusion of the apprenticeship. To continue a life long learning experience, successful learners move seamlessly on to the Toyota TEAM21 training programme. This programme enables expert vehicle technicians to keep abreast of the very latest developments in vehicle technology.
