English Language & Literature - AS (leading to A level)

Students who wish to become adventurous, critical and analytical readers and at the same time develop themselves as language users in a variety of contexts. As an English Language and Literature student, you will explore novels, plays and poems with a focus on how language creates literature. You will analyse spontaneous speech, investigate how authors create dialogue and develop your own skills for writing many different types of texts.
