NVQs in Business and Administration are for people who want to work in administrative support roles in public or private sector organisations, or people who want to improve their administrative and supervisory skills. It is designed to reflect the current and future needs of employers, and will benefit people with minimal experience of providing administrative assistance. This qualification includes a wide range of units to meet the needs of learners and employers, and enhance skills in verbal and written communication, computing, team working, decision making, planning, organising and problem solving.You will also gain essential knowledge in Health and Safety, and Personal Learning Thinking Skills (PLTS), and will be given the opportunity to obtain Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT as part of your programme, if required.
