This course may be delivered as a stand-alone NVQ or as part of an Apprenticeship programme. During the course candidates will cover areas such as installing fire or security systems and wiring them to control panels, testing systems, carrying out maintenance and repairing faulty systems. This qualification provides learners with skills needed to progress in the security / fire systems industry. Typical job roles would include installation or service engineers etc. The programme is delivered via a series of work based visits and assessments accompanied by day release sessions.
