<paragraph>The course is suitable for all ages (19+) and does not demand high levels of fitness or muscular development. Beginners is for students with no knowledge to attend the Intermediate you will need to have attended the beginner courses in the firts two terms. However, there is sufficient flexibility for experienced fencers to "brush up" and gain further experience.</paragraph> <paragraph>This course covers the full range of movements for foil fighting together with tactical instruction.</paragraph> <paragraph>The sport of fencing is not violent; it contains a high level of intellectual discipline, the mastery of which is very rewarding.</paragraph>
