This course aims to provide a basic understanding of the practical and theoretical elements of arboriculture and covers some of the following modules: plant and tree identification; basic principles of plant and soil science; woodland and habitat management; ground based arboriculture operations; undertake tree climbing, pruning and felling operations. Your work is assessed throughout the course and will be demonstrated through written and practical assignments.
