Introductory Certificate in Hospitality - Level 1

This course is appropriate for a student interested in working as a junior chef or in a service role within the hospitality industry, but who has few or no qualifications from school. Qualified skilled staff are more likely to gain employment and this qualification represents an introduction to the industry. It is a busy and practical course with real working experience in the restaurant and kitchens. Whilst working towards this certificate students will be able to develop skills in many areas including - How to prepare and cook basic dishes. - Food safety - Food and drink service - Customer service skills - Legislation - How to work in a team (essential in any busy kitchen)
