This course is for those who are interested in computing and information technology. You do not need to have any previous experience with computers. This course provides a broad understanding of the uses of computers in commerce and industry in order to prepare you for entry to the level 3 extended diploma. You will learn basic applications, programming, hardware and software. The course is currently made up of seven units. A typical choice of units might be - Computer systems and technical fault finding - Communicating and working in IT - Web development and programming - Databases - Personal and social development
