The course is designed to develop work based skills predominantly in a series of practical areas, and is for students aged over nineteen who have the potential to gain paid employment. This course effectively bridges the gap from College to Employment and is run in partnership with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Remploy, and covers subjects such as Health and safety, Work skills, CV writing, interview skills and job applications. The practical rotations within the hospital include Housekeeping, medical records, dining room catering, patients catering, and discharge room to name but a few.
