This course is aimed at students who wish to develop their personal skills and qualities to help them in their learning and future careers. The course provides practical hands-on experience in a real working environment as an introduction to working in business and administration. You will study 13 units throughout the year to achieve a diploma / certificate or award. Examples of units are - Working in business and administration - Communicating electronically - Welcoming visitors (reception) - Creating business documents - Recording business transactions - Business group project - Ideas for small business - Job opportunities in business Students will also undertake a personal and social development qualification - Working towards goals - Community action - Managing own money You will also have the opportunity to participate in a business enterprise scheme.
