A-level Chemistry

The subject aims to cover the basic principles of Chemistry, an outline of the major groups of the periodic table and an introduction to Organic Chemistry. There is a considerable amount of practical work in the course. Students will follow a programme of class teaching with practical investigations both in groups and as individuals and chemistry workshops. Group discussions and research projects are also included.
