The course consists of eight units studied over the year including: engineering environmental health & safety, organisational efficiency & improvement, cad, fabrication & welding principles, mig welding, producing platework fabrications, producing pipework fabrications, mechanical engineering principles and electrical maintenance. Every full-time course will include a real experience of work. Maths and English form part of this course and will be assessed at the relevant levels.
