You will study 12 units comprising of 6 practical units. 6 theory units which include 6 unit end tests and 1 synoptic test. The Diploma level 1 introduces you safe working practices in the construction industry. You will practice skills in preparing surfaces ready for decoration; applying paint by roller and brush; applying foundation and plain papers; and producing decorative finishes. Throughout the course you will be working towards the preparation and painting of flush doors and hanging wallpaper.
