This course complies with the Swindon, Wiltshire, Dorset and Gloucestershire "No Secrets" procedures. This course is aimed at those working in either Adult or Childcare settings. Content of the course includes No Secrets Policy, basic principles, Definitions, forms and types of abuse, indicators of abuse, people who may abuse, where abuse might take place, factors contributing to abuse, barriers to disclosure, mental capacity and abuse, deprivation of liberty, dealing with disclosure, reporting and recording, sources of help.
