Functional Skills English is a suite of national qualifications ranging from Entry Level 1 upto Level 2, for students over 19 years of age . Learners will learn how to develop strategies for : improving spelling and punctuation; dealing with reading basic and complex text; formal writing. Functional skills is designed to enable learners to use communicate effectively in every day situations and the workplace. Students will also need to follow written and verbal instructions, take part in discussion and keep a record of learning.
