The Parts Apprentice Framework is for individuals who work in job roles such as, loading/unloading of vehicles, selecting and packing customer orders, ensuring goods are ready for dispatch on time. An Apprenticeship is a vocational, work-based programme that demonstrates competence and knowledge. With a combination of on-the-job training and assessments, and training through an approved body, Apprenticeships demonstrate the individual’s competence to do a job to a national standard. In addition to the core Apprenticeship framework requirements, there are separate requirements which include, Maths, English, ICT, Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS). This framework in Vehicle Parts would suit someone who is interested in the technical aspects of motor vehicles, who enjoys talking to customers and who understands the importance of providing high quality customer service.
