The aims of the Btec First are to enthuse and inspire learners to consider a career in the Health and Social Care sector. To give learners the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and develop skills as well as supporting progression wherever possible on to specialized level 3 programs academic, vocational or apprenticeships. Some learners will progress directly into work in the health and social care sector.
