Get On - Job seeking and interview skills How will this course help me? This course will help you to be able to write a really good application form, to understand how to prepare for an interview and how to search for a job. You will gain an Entry Level 3 qualification. Who is the course for? Learners who are in receipt of JSA or ESA. What can I expect to Learn? To know about the importance of being prepared for an interview Be able to demonstrate being interviewed Complete a job application Complete a CV Be able to search for future jobs. How will I learn? Working individually and sometimes in small groups you will practice and develop skills in job searching, writing a really CV and gain experience completing application forms. This will be evidenced in a portfolio of work. How will I know how well I am doing? You will be expected to produce a portfolio of evidence over the day course, guided by your tutor. There will be regular feedback from the tutor in a written and verbal form as well self and peer assessment. Will I have to do any work outside of the sessions? All of the activities and skills developed in the session will benefit from being practised at home. What will I need to provide? Be appropriately dressed A folder and stationery (pens etc.) Will there be any other costs? (e.g. materials, books, registration with a professional body, etc.) You will need to provide your own folder and stationery. This course is FREE if you are in receipt of JSA or ESA.
