Creative Embroidery - Bespoke Bags: Day Course How will this course help me? You will gain confidence and skills in creative embroidery Who is the course for? Beginners and those with some experience of the subject. What can I expect to Learn? An introduction to creative hand embroidery. Basic hand embroidery stitches which may include chain, blanket & cross stitch Embroider a floral design onto a calico bag How will I learn? There may be demonstrations, a chance to ask questions and to practice at your own pace. There are no exams or formal assessments. If you think you may need extra help with your learning, please ask your tutor or the Centre staff. We will try to help you. How will I know how well I am doing? The tutor will help you to recognise how well you are doing and what you need to do to improve. This may include developing your own learning plan. Will I have to do any work outside of the sessions? You may be given tasks or activities to complete to practice in between and prepare for any future sessions. What will I need to provide? All materials will be available from the tutor but a basic hand sewing kit containing a variety of needles and a sharp pair of scissors would be useful. Will there be any other costs? You may be provided with a reading list to support your learning. All of the costs of this course are covered in the advertised course fee. What can I do next?
