How long is the course? This course runs for 34 weeks, commencing Tuesday 9 September 2014, 5.00pm-9.00 pm. What are the entry requirements? NVQ Level 1 or VRQ Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing. What qualification will I achieve? NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing What will I study? The course is for Level 1 learners wishing to develop their hairdressing career further. The course covers many aspects of hairdressing, including cutting, colouring, blow drying, setting, dressing long hair. Learners will take part in various competitions in and out of the college which will then open up more job opportunities upon completion. 16 – 18 year olds Full-time Barnsley College students aged 16-18 years old do not have to pay tuition fees. However, if the course is listed as full fee payable, fee waivers do not apply. 19+ Students You may be eligible for free or reduced course fees. However, if the course is listed as full fee payable, fee waivers do not apply. Aged 24 or over and thinking about further education?
