How long is the course? This course runs for 34 weeks, commencing in September 2014. You can choose one of the following options to study: • Monday 1 September 2014, two evenings per week, Monday and Wednesday 5.30pm-9.00pm (evening option) What will I study? This course is for Level 2 learners wishing to develop their hairdressing career further. The course covers many aspects of advanced hairdressing, including cutting, colour correction and dressing long hair. Learners will take part in various competitions in and out of the college which will then open up more job opportunities upon completion. Where will I study? You will study at Barnsley College, Old Mill Lane Site, Church Street, Barnsley, S70 2AX What equipment will I need? • Full Hairdressing Kit • Full uniform • Stationery How will I be assessed? You will complete online tests and practical assessments for each unit. What can I do next? Progression to employment – e.g working in a salon, cruise ships or spa hotels. How do I apply?
