This course will give you an understanding of common video editing techniques using Adobe Premiere. You willll explore media management, import settings, digital video formats and standards, video editing tools and techniques, adding effects and transitions, audio mixing and adding titles.

It would be helpful for you to bring a pen and notepad, as you may wish to take notes. Also recommended is a storage device such as USB Memory stick (minimum 8GB) or mini hard drive, for storage of work and final export of video films., , You do not need to bring any special equipment or material to classes, as the college will provide all necessary equipment and video footage for exercises and projects. You will also have access to computers during the class (Apple Macs or PCs)., , Computer study forms a significant part of the course, and you may wish to revise and practise at home to reinforce what they have learned during the lesson.
