This course is for students with some experience of observational drawing who would like to develop both their drawings skills and their knowledge and understanding of the structure of paintings by past masters. The class will take place in one of London’s major public galleries and will focus on aspects of picture making such as composition and pictorial space. Each term the group will concentrate on the work of a selected group of artists.
