Acting for Beginners

UPDATED 20140821 11:05:11

Acting for Beginners is a no-experience-necessary course, to sample what it means to ‘act’. This can be used as an isolated 12-week short course, or before enrolling on our Acting: An Introduction courses. You will begin to learn an acting vocabulary and discover the basics of a wide range of skills which enable an actor to meet his or her potential. This course will introduce how to use play through games and exercises, be spontaneous through improvisation, and be inspired through the use of text and imagery. The course will involve voice, movement and fundamental performance skills. It will help you learn how to build your confidence, have self-awareness, and develop interpersonal skills and trust, in a safe supportive fun environment.
