The works of Shakespeare are often brought to the stage and screen in authentic period dress. This exciting course will introduce you to the unusual and intricate hats shapes worn by the men and women of the 15th and 16th centuries. , Beginners will be introduced to the styles and methods of production of the period but if you have existing skills, you will be encouraged to research the period and develop your design skills alongside your technical abilities. Returning students can continue their researches and further their individual project work. All students will be encouraged to pursue their own project work where appropriate. To achieve the learning outcomes each term, you must complete modules 1 and 2., , The course is suitable for anyone interested in the subject. No experience is required,
