Patchwork & Quilting: Mixed Levels

This course covers experimental work, hand and machine techniques - including machine quilting, colour and design. It is suitable for intermediate students, though all levels are welcome. Includes two whole day Saturday classes on September 20 and November 29.

Entry requirements

• A basic sewing kit - scissors, needles, threads, bobbins, stitch ripper., • If you wish to work on your own projects, please bring fabrics for it – these may be recycled or new., • Notebook, pencil and eraser, • You may also wish to obtain a folder for storing handouts., , Beginners should bring –, • – 100% Cotton Fabrics, needles, pins, scissors, matching or neutral coloured threads. Fabrics should be dressweight or specialist patchwork fabrics. You will need approximately 1.5 to 2 metres of assorted fabrics for the top of a quilt and 1.5 metres for backing fabric.
