We will peer into the often private world of the Psychotherapists’ consulting room and review the case studies of clients experiencing Personality Disorders and Affective Disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders and stress related illnesses. We will reconnect with the notion of the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for managing the emergence of repressed trauma. This course focuses on psychotherapeutic approaches to assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
