Contemporary Paper Art

UPDATED 20140821 11:05:10

Using paper as a medium has become more and more popular over the past several years, with artists creating innovative works of art using paper as a primary medium, valuing it more than ever in a world that is becoming increasingly paper-less. On this course you'll learn a variety of techniques based on more traditional paper arts such as Origami, Papier mache and Collage, but with a contemporary twist! You'll explore the works of contemporary artists who use paper in their practice and produce your own 2D and 3D works in response.
