Interior Design: An Introduction

An introduction to all aspects of designing a unique living space. The principles examined are storyboarding, briefing, sourcing, lighting, accessorising, colour scheming, planning, costing and project management. Students will be exploring design concepts and developing ideas on paper through drawing and sketching. The course covers the design basics of colour, texture and design terms and some rudimentary technical drawing techniques to scale, using design drawing conventions.
