This course is for students with no belly dance background and those who want to review and strengthen their basic belly dance technique. Students will focus on the basic foundation necessary for all belly dancers including posture and alignment, alternating singles, squares, circles, twists, figure 8's and more. Classes are based on the Suhaila Salimpour Format - a modern vision of belly dance which focuses on developing true muscular intelligence and isolation
