Blue Printing

of blueprinting techniques including making photograms with actual objects , how to use drawing, collage and computer generated acetates for more complex imagery. We will explore how to remove the blue colour from the print and tint it brown and how to create images on coloured grounds. Blueprints are also known as cyanotypes or sun prints, they are an exciting way of making unique images often with intriguing results, the process is an early form of photography which also works on natural fibres.
