A varied programme of jewellery making techniques to guide students through the design process. Projects are based on jewellery pieces and small scale silverware. You will be encouraged to exhibit in group and individual shows and to build up a portfolio of work.

The studio is well equipped with tools and machinery but you will need to purchase your own silver, gold, stones etc to complete your projects, also once established you will be expected to provide your own saw blades and drill bits. Base metals are provided. You should bring a sketchbook with your design ideas and a pencil/ pen for taking notes. You should also bring an apron and wear sensible footwear, no open toed sandals. Advice and guidance will be given on where to purchase suitable materials.
