Domestic Energy Assessor, accredited to produce EPCs for buildings are the only people who can produce the required EPC. DEAs will require an approved qualification and have a license to practice as a DEA. Domestic Energy Performance Certificates not only outlines the cost of heating, hot water and lighting in homes, but also give advice on how to cut these costs and reduce climate changing emissions. The EPC is mandatory and only a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor or Home Inspector can carry out the assessment.
